Dr. Alveda King was appointed in April 2025 as Senior Adviser to the Faith Office at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), working under the leadership of Secretary Brooke Rollins. In this capacity, she leads initiatives in faith and community engagement, dedicated to uniting faith, family, and service to strengthen farm families and local communities.
